Well, after approx 130,000 miles the trans kicked the bucket. Actually it kicked out the front seal and ejected all the fluid. So now the Rover is at the trans shop, is there anything else I should inspect/replace while it is out? Want to do all I can now, can't afford another $650 to pull and reinstall again later! Anyway, any and all ideas appreciated!

Hmmm , so they are rebuilding the front pump and putting in a new converter seal?

While you've got it out - check/replace rear main seal (assuming this is V8 and not an oil burner)
