Rob,
everywhere is pretty much the same now. Extremeforce will give you 10% off if you mention d-90.com I think the number is on d-90.com
I got my from gourock.com a while back but the sale is over

I got my latest yarn from MasterPull - love the
bright yellow snap hook they have !
As far as ExtremeForce is concerned....I placed a
small order with them several monthes ago and
never received it. I would be careful with them..

yes, i'm going to go with a local distributor since there are no deals out there. i've checked all over and it looks like a set price like ronny said.
at least i'll save on shipping, ohh, but there will be tax.
damn

Keith,
I suggest you call Chris V. Never known of any problems from them. I am sure he will make good on it.
Cheers
Ron

I got mine from a place in Massachusetts and the replacement from Masterpull. If you call Masterpull, talk to Emil and tell him Milan sent you.
I agree with Keith on the yellow hook. Lovely!

One thing about that fancy yellow hook (no attack here - I have one also ) - keep it lubed, or it will freeze up solid. I was out the other weekend and a guy went to use his after a period of none use, and the pivot mechanism was frozen solid - no amount of persuasion with large rocks would help!

Hehe. Good point. Nothing beats simplicity, I guess. I.e. nothing can sieze on a regular hook. On the other hand, I really like the locking mechanism of these yellow hooks as they get tighter the more pressure is put on them which is better than the other kind, that would just unlock by bending the locking clip. I think safety is very important when it comes to recovery items. I also like the size of these hooks allowing just going through 2 2" loops of your tree strap without using a shackle, saving it for use elsewhere and speeding up the line hook-up in the process.
