Chrome doesn't stick too well to aluminum. If you are really interested in making it look good, take off items like valve covers, and anything else that unbolts and take to a place that does aluminum polishing for Harleys; several $$$ later, you will have shiny stuff underhood, that will dull the first time you get it wet or dirty... That's why most people just leave it alone.. MTC
