I just bought a 1997 discovery XD and it came with 4 hella 4000 euro beams on the safari rack and they are tied into the high beams. I noticed that inside the housing of the lights there are 2 bulbs, one in the center and one at the bottom. on all 4 lights only the center bulb works. Does anyone know what the 2nd bulb does, and how to fix it. Also tell me any info about the lights you know. Thank you.

Andrew, that second bulb location at the bottom is what they call a city light. A common setup in europe, the 4000's city light is I think a 5 watt bulb that produces a glow from the lamp. I have mine set up to run with my low beams on. It gives a very cool look to your rig around town. Michael
