Does anyone have a 1996 Discovery Service manual that depicts the wiring diagram for the Power Seats? I would be extremely grateful if I could get a copy of it.

I am tryring to hook up the Discovery seats onto my Defender and would like to know how the wires hook up to the fuse box.

There is a 8 pin plug under the seat. I have the wiring harness including the switches. I think there are three motors under the seat one each for updown/rearfront/tilt.

It appears that 6(hot) are for the the motors and the other two are ground.

Can I hook all six onto a common hot and hook it to the battery through a fuse. and grond the other two common gronds. Or is this too risky? any suggestions?

The wiring diagram would be a great help.
