Kyle,

The problem is that all stuffing does not cut it. If you put on HD springs you lose a lot of stuffage so to compensate you need some drop. You can't stuff an HD spring truck the way you can a stocker unless you weigh it down to the gills. Try my suspenion idea and see what you think. The cost in stuffage is pretty much non existant if you already lost 3in up. Make up for it with 3in of down. It especailly helps in downhills where you are very prone to lifting a wheel.

Lets face it , the truck aint light. with some spring play you can get decent stuffage..

Kyle,

Whats your left rear doing though. Thats the point. You don't lose stuff you gain drop. And also that is not that steep of a hill. I am talking especially about the situation where you have to go around a turn and down a steep hill at the same time. Alway get the creepy rear wheel lift with that.

yeah, Ron, that's a damn scary sensation when that rear corner lifts and momentarily turns you into a teeter-totter...I have to agree with that. However, I've found that the rig is still "safely" planted, and still retaining traction, well beyond the limits that your inner ear tells you you've just passed. Interesting point about "You don't lose stuff you gain drop." - have to ponder that for a while...

Not that steep???? hehe , that ledge was pretty god damn steep. For scale those are 32" tires. The rear got light and there was a little teeter but how many guys going off ledges steeper here? That could have been much steeper and I would have still been ok..The right rear is stuffed in there oh so nice... now that to me is sexy... :) And as I said , that was with the wood heads and rear sway bar...

I'm a little late coming in, so maybe I missed a thread, however,

Kyle, what is your front bumper - it looks stock.
Stock bumper modified?
Custom built
Looks as if you have the factory brush bar..

Its a custom bumper with the factory bar grafted on. I dig the factory look so thats what I am shooting for with the ones I build.

I too like the factory look,

are you planning on marketing the bumper or would you be willing to share the plans.....

It looks really clean - 'specially like the winch in behind...

Thanks , since I have a regular job so its taking a little time but should be available fairly soon. Keep in mind its for the RE and Husky winches only at this point.. The mount and the skid have to be changed around a bit for planetary use..
