Anyone notice the fatal shooting today at the G-8 summit came from the back of a LR Defender. The press has referred to the vehicle (or another that subsequently ran over the victim) as a Jeep though.

I suppose folks in Europe are used to police action being staged from LR product more than we are in the U.S.

I prefer using my Land Rover for weekend fun myself, and avoiding violence altogether if possible!

the funny thing is that while in vermont this past weekend we picked up a lost chocolate lab on route 100. as soon as i pulled over i was having flash backs of that dumb ass commercial. but we were not all dressed up on our way to see Cats. we were headed to the long trail brewery!!!! and the dog was returned......such a happy ending.
