I am considering an N.R.P. Performance Exhaust system for my 99 Disco series one. Can anyone tell me if this is a good replacement for the stock system, mine is rusted and in need of replacement and still under warranty?. I am interested in the performance aspects and stainless construction (no brainer), but do not want a loud exhaust system. Has anyone put one of these on his or her disco? If so how do you like it? Is it worth the cost? Is it loud?

I have the NRP exhaust on my 99 Disco Series I. I love it. You do notice the exhaust is there. It is not loud though. I put the exhaust onin my driveway. It is that easy to do. I believe Rovers North is selling them for $1300. You can see them on Rovers North site and NRP's site in the vendor area. I have talked to others that have the exhaust and have heard no complaints.

go to a local muffler shop and get a custom system from them. I think you will find the $$$ lots cheaper, and the system just as good.

Yeah - this is a nice option for a replacement exhaust. compared to the borla - just a lil bit quieter, but just as quality of a product, imho. sound is a deeper sound than stock, but not really that much louder.

i would take a look at buying from NRP direct, though - should be cheaper than other commonly advertised outlets..

Britt,
Check out the system at NRP's (Northwest Rover Performance) web site. Its listed under the vendors section on Discoweb. Y pipe all the way back is about $1300.00, system from converters back is around $540 direct. This looks like the fix based upon info received so far. I'll start with system from the converters back and then eventually add the Y pipe and converters.

Dale.

Has anyone noticed horsepower increases or better fuel mileage with the NRP system?
