Any Amateur Radio Disco owners here? I'm thinking of putting a 2-meter in the truck and am interested in where others have positioned their rig and antennae.
Thanks

Keith,
That's a great idea putting the unit under the seat - I had not thought of that. I kept thinking I had to mount the whole rig somewhere on the dash that wasn't going to be in the way, yet still readable. The control head behind the gear shift - have you mounted it on some type of bracket or does it just lie there free?
Thanks for the advice,
Stephen

I havn't done much in the last 10 years, I got my license as a teen and did quite a bit of work with Red Cross.
One day I will pick it back up,

hehe - porcupine...
Stephan, No, the control head just sits between the gear lever and the window switch plate. It probably would be a good idea to bracket it down as it moves around once in a while.
