I know there are a bunch of you that swear by synthetics. However, I change my 95 Disco's oil every 3500 miles with regular oil and havn't had any problems through my first 78k miles. Any suggestions on whether to use 10-30 or 10-40?? I am in muggy South Florida.
I was at Kmart the other day and saw some Castrol Max Filters? Anyone use them?
I finally needed to replace the oil washer as mine started to leak just recently. Bought a few from RN and should get them today.

The one guy with over 200k on his disco, stated that he still uses 10-30...

That's me with 227K on my DI (94). I still use standard dino juice, change every 3000. Some like synthetic, but I like the old stuff. Filter choice is a touchy subject for some, but I usually use whatever the lube facility has. I am a fan of Fram, but that is gonna start a shitstorm......
