I was always told there is never a dumb question, so here goes.
When installing a K&N filter on a Disco 1, what happens to the air sensor located in the original filter housing. I have been thinking of converting for a while and have almost decided to take the plunge. I recently fitted a twin 13" Kenlowe electric fan, in place of the viscous unit. I think that the added air flow of the K&N might boost the cooling capacity. Also, will the engine automatically adjust the air/fuel mix, with the additional air flow. Fingers crossed, it all seems to be going well.
