I'm trying to find the perfect wheels for SuperSwamper 33-10.50 on 15" Rims. I want Black Rock Crawlers with beadlocks, but don't know what to look for. I don't really understand the whole back spacing thing :)

I donno what there is in the US, but I have managed to get some 15x8 with NO spacing...in other words, the rim is equally divided 4" to the inside and 4" to the outside...so i can fit a tire up to 13" wide...

backspacing is the amount the part of the rim is "inside" the axle flange.

Hey Guys,

Just to clarify so no one orders the worng thing... Nadim, I believe you are confusing Backspacing and offset. Backspacing is the distance from the innermost wheel lip to the surface of the wheel that bolts against the hub. So for an 8" wide wheel with zero OFFSET, this distance would be four inches. It is Offset that is measured +/- from the imaginary center of the wheel. Stock Land Rover Alloys are a 5.375" Backspacing, or -1.875" offset. Keep in mind that increasing the backspacing would narrow the track, and decreasing the backspacing would increase the track of the vehicle. As with anything though, there is a pointof diminishing returns. As you decrease the backspacing beyond the center of the wheel, you begin to apply added stress on wheel bearings, etc... Hope this helps guys....

chris i just have the standard disco steel rim
there are a few diffent types of these and they are know by the amout of welds the have on the center to the rim there are 4 5 and 8
if you get yours offset then you can ask for more weld and more strenght

I'm not wanting to put too much of a load on the bearings, I just want it to tuck good. I've already got the trimming planned :)
