Please help.
Installed med. ome springs with bilstein shocks on my '97 disco - Love the ride and look but the fenders on the passenger side is 3/4 inch lower than the drivers side. The springs are correctly installed per drive/passenger side, but there is noticeable lean. Can I adjust the body mounts?

Thanks,
BC

This is expected. The Discos overseas are unbalanced from side to side with respect to weight, thus, the reason for the taller springs on the driver side. OME springs are designed the same way as LR springs to compensate.

Have someone sit in the drivers seat and see what you have then....just for curiosity.

Maybe you should have gone with RT springs! You now know if you need help, Old man Emu dosn't post the latest, greatest Disco products and information here. But John does! thanks again.

You can use up to 2 OME spring packers per spring at 10 m/m ea which would give you a 3/4" lift where you need it. Call Charles at Rover Accessories, he carries them.

I have a set of MD springs. If you send me the driver side ones, I will send you the PS side ones. That way we'll both end up with equal length springs on both sides. Let me know if you're interested.

Yes , allot of vendors now are opening the boxes and matching the springs so that you dont get such a bad lean. The Disco still suffers from a right rear lean though , no matter what so you may have to shim a little if you want that gone..

Hey Kyle,
If it still leans when the springs are equal rate and length, would it not make sense to then use the unequal length springs and put the longer ones on the passenger side?

Is the weight not distributed 50/50 left to right?

I got LR HD springs from Rovers North and the Driver's side front was longer than the passenger side. Both rear were the same.

Kyle,

You would think, but no lean with the Rovers North springs. It's just not much of a lift 1"+ or so.
