I am interested to know what the age of the Discoweb users are. This is just for curiosity sake here, there are no further implications. Here, Ill start:

32 years old

30 SWM (straight!!), likes mt. biking, hiking, camping, and into alt. country music. enjoy traveling all over. love dogs and hate cats.......hehe :)

i would guess there is a pretty good cross section of age here. i am going to venture a guess at 36 being the average here.

I'm betting money that I'm the youngest one here...I'm 16. I've always liked Land Rover's because I use to live close to Birmingham, England. It wasn't the best place i've been, but the fact that almost everybody I knew had something to do with LR was cool stuff. We'd always go to the local LR stuff happening just to have something to do. I made a promise to myself when we left England, and that was to have a Land Rover for my first car. So, coincidently, around the time I turned 15, one of my dads friends was selling his 1994 Land Rover Discovery 5-speed(with only 40,000 miles, perfect condition, fully loaded), we bought it from him for an extremely reasonable price! It's the only Disco at my school, but more and more Series trucks and old Rangies are appearing. The thing that pisses me off the most is when I get this comment "I like your J**p, it's bad ass!"

One less Disco adding another D90...probably
97 Disco LSE "soon to be project"
97 Disco SE "For Sale"
98 Disco LE7 "Mall crawler"
94 D90 SE "Hopefully sold"
94 D90 with 127K miles on it's way???

35 been polishing and waxing my Disco (96) for a long time, I just ,for the first time whent 4x4ing with the boy's from LR Richmond B.C. this weekend and loved it. My wife almost divorced me, because I scream at her almost every time she drives it. She couldn't believe how dirty and scratched up it was. It took me 8 hour's to buff all the scratches out. It looks just the same as when it rolled off the factory floor. My three kids call me Discoman because I'm always doing something to it. Just love that truck.Sometimes more than the wife hehehe.

Okay, let's just say that I'm somewhere in between the ages of Solo, Steve2, and Mike W. Alright, let's say I'm closer to Mike W. ;-)

Hey Blue Gill, thats the same exact order for me as well, the ironic thing about that is thats the story I tell to anyone who wants to listen..

1. 94 RangeRover Classic Jan'99
( my wife(fiance' at the time) thought I was going to use the money to get a 5carat ring from Tiffany's)...yeah right, I got a 1c.plat.from Tiffany's---didn't want the jealousy.
2.House in April'00-got my money together so we could get the end unit townhouse(wanted something larger, my own driveway with a garage, but my wife has one more year of Law School left, and I'm trying to finish this MBA)
3. Married in Oct. "00(honeymoon paid for with the left over money used to purchase the Rover-but wanted to use it to "fix/outfit up the Rover".
4.First born June '01
5. Turn 30-August '01
6. Get Discovery SeriesI Sept. '01

No grey hairs yet, but coming soon I suspect..
wait, I haven't even started growing hair on my chest yet.........

Chris you have to go with them ,it's something else to watch Ryan Cowell drive his Disco . He makes the hardest trail's look easy. It realy is amazing what a nice comfertable ride like the Disco can do and still look great at the valet parking. Try that with a j**p grand and you will be bringing back a box of broken and fallen off part's.

=> you know, despite the constant rise in the cost of living, it still remains a popular option.

Okay, here's a picture of my youngest, when we were searching for an extra tire (when we "killed 2 with one stone") to put on our 6 lug wheel out in the middle of nowhere (Ocatillo Wells). The little guy had a blast! (He finally "caught a lizard", which was his main focus on the expedition ...)
