During the past couple of months I've noticed that the floor of my DII (under my rubber mats) is frequently wet. I supposed it was from foot traffic in heavy rains until this past weekend, when my wife noticed water dripping along the front passenger side, presumably from the A/C.
I'm due for my 30K in about 4K, so I plan to have the dealer look into it. In the meantime, is there anything I should check? Has anyone had / heard of this problem before?

Yes, I had the problem on a Series I Disco -- still have it actually. Has something to do with a drain hole being blocked or so they say. On my car the wetness is under the driver side (left) mat.

I just dealt with this problem in my Disco II. There was another thread on this a few days ago that had some good info. In my case, the culprit was the A/C drain tube, and there's a picture/description of this on this other thread. All I did was fiddle with this thing (a lot of water poured out, most of it all over me) and I haven't had the problem since.

Thanks for the info, Kent (and Bryan). Glad to hear it's an easy fix. I'll dig through the Board and find that thread!

You guys are awesome...Took care of the A/C drain "tubes" no prob. Man, there was a LOT of water under the carpets! This should be (and probably is - I'm still learning) up there with checking the oil as far as routine checks are concerned.
I had been doing some dune hopping, and the drain tubes were gunked up with hardened sand. (Man, sand sure does make a mess under the truck. It took a LOT of hosing to clean up that mess!)
