I'm moving to the area in the next few weeks, but have some flexibility on where I can live (anywhere from N. Denver to Fort Collins). I've seen housing prices, the "activities" pages for the cities web pages, and I know where the larger towns are. What are the communities like, though? How about daily traffic? The mtn biking? The "tone" of the city(ies)?
I'm heading out there next week, but any info anybody could give would be greatly appreciated. There's only so much you can tell from a "snap-shot" visit.
Also, where are the wheeling trails in that area? Anybody want to go when I get out there in a month?
Many thanks-
Troy

Troy,
I'll be doing the same thing. Let me know what you find as I'll be heading out there in a month or so.

Try Kelly flats up the poudre canyon 25 miles. It's moderate for 95% of it and difficult in two areas.
Then you can connect to a half a dozen trails from the other end. Left hand canyon just south of Longmont towards Boulder and many other trails south of there.

Sorry Troy, my email: [email protected]. Drop me a note after your trip of your thoughts and impressions of the area. We're planning on heading out there on the 18th-21st of August.
I was checking out the Longmont area and it looks pretty good on www.coloradohomes.com.
