How difficult is it to order stuff from UK vendors? I see a lot of cool stuff in the Land
Rover magazines, but it's all in the UK.

I know that I can just put it on a credit card
and the credit card company will deal with th
exchange rate, but how do the vendors feel about
shipping to the US?

Is shipping too expensive?

On cheap things, the shipping can easily cost more than the part. But, if it's the right part, and with shipping is still cheap enough, then you're okay.

On more expensive things, though, the savings can easily make up the difference for the shipping.

Another option, though, is to get a lot of parts shipped over at once in a package... you can save even more that way.

Or, get a friend who's over there on a trip to bring back what you need.... works for me!!

i second leslie's suggestion- a mule! that's the best, then take them out for a good dinner while you think about all the goodies in his suitcase!

OR

cash in 50,000 air line miles and go there yourself on holiday....
