I recently switched from GENERAL tires to same size Mich. w/ a more aggressive tread. We were holding on to the Gs as possible spares. I thought that about 3-4 weeks ago I heard an anouncement on the radio that Generals were being recalled in the same size as ours (235/70/16). I have tried seeking out verification for this, but have not had any luck. Did I imagine this or does anyone out there in Disco-land have any knowledge of recall of General brand tires?
