I recently made a switch from the Jeep world over to the LR world, so I am somewhat clueless. This topic has probably been touched in the past. However, I am interested to know the differences in springs between Rovertym and OME or any other spring. I am looking for a spring to meet the following criteria.
I live in Salt Lake City and drive about 25 miles to work. Moab will be my stomping ground. So I am looking for a strong daily driver with above average articulation. I am not looking to add a winch bumper or any real additional weight. I have just heard that OME are pretty stiff. Please advise!

Thanks

I'd get the Rovertym springs cause John can make you custom springs suited to whatever your needs. I'd rethink not getting a winch, if you use it once it's paid for itself.

I agree with Al. A winch is well worth it.

I also agree about the Rovertyme springs. I have had both and I like the Rovertyme springs better.

Did I hear correctly that RoverTym does not have springs for the Disco II?

If that is the case, what do you recommend?

Thanks,
Mike B.

check the owners gallery, a few ds2 owners have RT springs. Call john if you want recommendations - i hear he's currently retooling to expand his spring line.

Yes , after a long grace period of you not using it anymore you lost the rigts to it. So , it was fair game. :)
