I AM A FIRST TIME DISCO OWNER AND WOULD LIKE TO KNOW ANY IMPORTANT TECHNICAL INFO RELATING TO THE NEW VEHICLE I HAVE PURCHASED.(2001 DISCO 2 SE WITH ACE SYSTEM)I HAVE OWENED AND RESTORED BETWEEN 10 ROVER PRODUCTS BEFORE AND NUMEROUS CRUISER PRODUCTS THOUGH MOST HAD BEEN 109S AND OLDER VERSIONS SUCH AS SERIES I SERIES II MID 60'S AND 70'S ANY ADVICE WOULD HELP GREATLY THANK YOU FOR YOU HELP, IT IS NICE TO SEE ALL OF THE MEMBERS CLOSE AND UNITED SOMETHING THAT LACKED WITH THE MEMBERS OF THE LANDCRUISER PRODUCT FROM TOYOTA. NICE TO BE HOME AGAIN

Hi Lee, Congrats on the new purchase. Can't help you with the Disco2 though as I have a Disco1. I'm sure there are some people around here that can though.

Welcome to disco ownership! I can't help you much either, as i Have a Disco I too. But i can tell you, these vehicles are designed to last you 200 or even 300 thousand miles...how you ask? because you will do some form of maintenance on them every couple of months!!! i love my disco, but i can tell you it will take some maintenance! BTW, try not typing in all caps..its considered shouting...

Its hard to wear out a vehicle when half of it gets replaced under warranty My 98 is "like new". But that's because most of it is new...
