I have a 1996 Discovery and bought a new remote off of ebay. They told me at the dealership it would take them an hour to program it. I have tried the ignition on/ off lock on/off bonnet sitch on/off thing and it did not work for my truck. Anyone else know where I can go to program it?

It doesn't take an hour to program - but I suppose your dealer has a 1 hour minimum for labor. If you don't need it right away, wait a couple weeks until you have to go to the shop for some other work to get done and see if they will program it for free then
