Found an old post that describes using a straightened coathanger to clear some condenser drains near the tranny. I have a 95 Disco (NAS)that leaks water onto the pass side floormat (NOT antifreeze) and I figure it's these things that are clogged. Where specifically are they? I also get mist outta the vents, but the A/C is CCCCOLD. Thanx

If you get under the truck you will find two rupper nipples up in the trans tunnel about halfway the trans if memory serves...

What's the size/diameter of the tubes? What color are the nipples. I've been under there a lot and never noticed anything like's being described.........

They are black, and the reason you probably can't see them is they are completely covered in dried up mud. Either side of the trans tunnel...
Heh, just go down there and tweak the tits a little bit. That will probably be enough, if not, then you can start with inserting foreign objects in there.
Man this could really be taken out of context, eh?

Black - usually covered in undercoating - they are "self draining" grommets that don't really do that. Both are pretty far forward up the trans tunnel. Reach for them cold or else it's a bitch with a hot transmission. They are pretty much directly across from one another at the same height.
BTW - do not poke a coathanger up there like someone suggested. The grommets are made to be removed - just reach up, twist a half turn and pull and they come right out. If you jam something up there, you risk puncturing the rubber drain tubes themselves and then you're screwed.

There's a picture of these things somewhere, in one of the old post threads. That's how I found them. I wasn't sure I was looking at the right thing, so I tickled one with my finger and got soaked (I guess that could be taken out of context), but no problems since. And Bill's right, do it with everything cold; very hot under there otherwise.

You have to really wiggle your arm in there to get the one on the driver side, but otherwise they are easily seen on either side of the transmission. They were actually farther up there than I thought they would be. Also look for where the water is dripping from.

Thanks to all, I found 'em. There's really no tubes per se. I looked for tubes, but, in reality, they're just two 2"long nipples jutting down from the undercarriage. BTW, the pass side one was clear and the driver's side had some little rocks in it......
