A heavy duty ladder which will mount to your LR adventure rack and other stable body areas.

A ladder that is made to be used, not just a cute add-on hanging off your door mounted with Rivinuts!!??

Oh, did I mention that the rear door can remain fully open while still being able to access your roof-top load??

This is currently in the prototype stage, however, it will be shown in use on a Disco I at RoverFest. Look For it...(Epson Green w/ sand glow wheels)

Disco II to be available this Fall.

Orders will be taken at RoverFest with 50% down and turn around time should be a few weeks.
Cost: TBD (depending on the order quantity)

Photos will be posted and more information will be available next week on the DiscoWeb following RoverFest.

Sound Interesting??

I'd use a ladder that could actually be used...

depends on your body weight - I've heard that rivnuts fail if you put all your weight on the ladder. Don't know from experience, as I have avoided stock ladder for the above reasons. My custom ladder has 3 steps: bumper, tire, roof.

Mine holds my fat ass, all 250 lbs of it. !!

I wouldn't get on it with my door open though...

it wont hold for to long, ive seen them bend out the hinges on more than one rig. i use the bottom step and then i systematically transfer my weight over to the round rubber structure mounted on my back door.

just be careful......this could be a trick by Scott Nicols. he could be disguised in a planet of the apes costume at rover fest trying to sell these ladders. i hear he is selling some nice hella 1000's there as well!!!! :) in that case i am going to be there for sure dressed up like Markie Mark.

damn that was funny garrett. First it's bad white rap, then soft porn, then a fishing trip, and now Marky Mark is saving the earth.

maybe scott nicols is Marky Mark.....

Funny thing - a genuine ladder through bolted instead of using Rivnuts works fine too!!

scott nicols on a fishing trip? i think so. maybe like the one similar to the one in Deliverance would work well for him. but never a porn star or white rapper. Peter North and the Beastie Boys still rule those catagories!!!

well, i have the AB one (that is rusting badly after 16 months) and it just screwws in.

seems to hold the weigt fine. i try not to pull out on it though...

i'm thinking this guy is selling a rope ladder.

Maybe it's Justin starting a new company again. Sure sounds like the same pitch. "Money now, Tears later".

Souds pretty COOL to me...

I have gone through 2 LR ladders:
1=ladder vrs. tree...oh well
2=through bolts at bottom didn't do the job...now I have gapeing holes, rust, and a crooked ladder!

How can it not be in the way of that giant back door though?
