Cooper just came out with a nice tire called the Discoverer S/T. Not as beafy as a mud tire, but more so than tires like Duelers. Rides MUCH MUCH better than the stock XPC's ever did. And they are really quiet. They even have pre-drilled holes for studs. Have yet to really give them a good beating, but so far so good. I stuck with the stock size, since I am most likely not going to go with a lift. Just have the OME shocks all around with stock springs. I paid $535 w/ tax for 5 tires installed (mounted/balanced) here at my local shop. here is the link to the tire:

Just for kicks, what would happen if I put the 255/70/R16 on? Would I hate myself for it? Does anyone think it would rub anywhere?

different tires companies tire sizes vary a little. check the exact size of the width and height of the tire you are wanting and then compare it to your stock tire. that size is not listed in the 'tech' section and i don't have any history with that tire size. you most likely would have to at the least adjust your bump stops. other than that i would not know. someone else has to be running these tires on this site.

In theory, the 255/70 would be about 0.8" wider and a little over 1" taller than the 235/70. The 255 would be a little wider and almost as tall as a 245/75 - based on this, it would likely rub rear fenders and maybe radius arms. But, like Garrett said, actual sizes vary from different manufacturers.
