I recieved this in an e-mail today, and thought I would pass it along. It will be interesting to see if anything comes of this.

"Today I received an interesting survey enclosed in a newsletter. It seems that an individual in the Frederick, MD area (NW of Washington DC) is
pondering the idea of creating another privately owned 4x4 playground on the east coast, similar to Paragon or Coal Creek Mining Company. I mean similar in that you will pay a day use fee to a private enterprise to ride on this land. This would be great news if it they succeeded. BTW...This area is about 400 miles from the Charlotte area.

Someday we may rely heavily on the private parks to have a place to ride, although I truly hope that is never the case. Surveying a market is
essential for a land owner and any partner investors to determine if there will be sufficient income to support their venture. I hope many of you will join me in completing and mailing the survey back. It would be great to see
another new park on the map instead of hearing about one shutting down or being threatened by the environmental groups.

You can print a PDF formatted copy of this survey at
http://web.northstate.net/~stracey/4x4_playgrounds.pdf. The reply mailing address and more information is on the form."

I'll fill it out and send it in. Since I'm in Falls Church, VA this would be pretty close by compared to the other trails.

Frederick is only about 45 minutes from my shop! I will make several copies and forward them to my customers who are 'on the fence' or involved in off-roading.
