Does anyone have any idea about the Jump seats for a 95 Disco. I bought some used ones and the dealer is telling me I have the seats for vehicles with rear air. My vehicle doesn't have rear air, so "They won't fit." Anyone know why they won't or how to modify them to fit??

Thanks

pretty sure the dealer is correct on this. i just sold my seats to someone and made sure they also had rear a/c in their truck. the brackets are totally different in the back with a truck without rear a/c. there may be some way to retrofit them, but there is no straightforward way to do this as far as i know. if worse comes to worse, just resell them on ebay. they sell for up to $700 on there.

good luck.

I just put a set of jump seats from a disco with rear air into my 98 without rear air.

There were identical mounting holes on both the driver and passanger quarters.

The only thing I had to do was get a set of brackets for the driver side (air side) from the dealer. Around $50 for the four brackets.

It is fairly easy to check for the mounting holes. Just remove the rear interior panels and you can check.

Not sure if this is the same for the 95 disco.

I also had to cut my the driver side interior panel for the seat belts and mounting brackets. Traded the passenger panel with the person I bought the jump seats from. This is not nessecary, as you can cut both your existing panels.
