Well here I am again - I might become a regular if I don't watch it!

Question for you guys: I am already catching a lot of flack from my fiance about buying a Disco with wedding plans in the making and money going everywhere these days. I have a '95 and was wondering about the cheapest way to get a reliable and non-cheasy 2" lift. Can I get by with buying new OME rear springs and then moving the old rear springs to the front to get my lift? Would this be an acceptable way to get my lift without buying all new springs?
Thanks in advance guys!

Jarrod,

An extra set of springs is going to cost you another $100 + change ... while you have your truck taken apart to swap the springs, you might as well do all 4 at the same time instead of just 2. It is a fairly easy job but why do it twice? You might get more grief from your fiance down the road by spending another afternoon working on your truck again :) Just my 2 cents.

Jarod,

Yes it will work and work fine assuming your rears are not sagged too much. I would suggest OME MDs in the back or better yet ask for both PS OME HD rears. OME MD fronts are comparable to stock LR disco rears in rate and length. You will end up with about 1.5in of lift over stock. For about 150 (cost of two OME springs plus shipping) less if you find some used ones.

That's the answer I was looking/hoping for. Thanks a bunch for the feedback!
