Who's springs are better for a 2" lift on my '97 Disco. I want to keep body roll on city cornering as low as possible, it's an everyday driver, with mild off road. No heavy loads yet, but how will either brand respond to a 23' boat on a trailer (if the need should arise). I will NOT be adding a permanent wench or heavy bumper ever. I am trying to sell this thing, but if I can't sell it for what I want, I'm gonna lift it.

Take a trip over to the spanish trail page, tech section, and read the article on choosing springs. It should help you (a lot). You may also want to read the choosing shocks article too.

William,

I would go for the RTEs. I was thinking the OME HDs would do ok with a 5500lbs trailer but they really did not do as well as I would have liked just reinforcing my opinion of them. So I am slowly (2 springs at a time) switching all my trucks to RTE or custom stuff I have had made or bought from people.

Ron
