Got a sweet deal on a Clarion 6.4 lcd screen today.I flushed in into the center armrest of my D2, will buy the vinyl tommorow to finish. I am going to limit how far back the top goes so it could be viewed from the backseat, but when it is down it is easily visible from the front seats, also wired it to a switch to operate without key, for watching camcorder videos, etc.

i can see why people put these in for kids and what not, but most of them that I have ever had done for customers has caused electric haywire in the Disco...and no, I didnt install them myself, I just sold them, they were all professionally installed. Keep an eye on your electrics.

Straight to the battery, wouldn't cause more problems than anything else you tap into, lights gps, laptop etc. Sometimes "professional" is a relative term.
