Damn! I've got all the power I need and plenty to back up my own custom install, but I've never ran into this problem before. I'm running Infinity Kappas all around powered by a Fosgate 400a4, and two 12" Cerwin Vega 124s. When I cranked it in my sealed box eveything was pretty sweet. It hit hard and sounded clean. I've dropped the subs in a bandpass box temporarily and to my surprise the Vegas are "stiff" enough to thump through heavy metal without blending several bass notes into one long note... (This is a usual problem I hear in systems with bandpass boxes, they'll play RAP/CRAP but everything else sounds like SHIT!) Since I listen to rock, I've always opted for the cleanliness of a sealed box, but I've now been convinced that the bandpass box with vegas (Powered by an 800a2) is the way to go.

SO WHAT'S THE PROBLEM???
I need to get into the headliner and find a way to stiffen up the rear section of roof on my Disco. The roof is vibrating up and down about 3/4" in each direction (No exagerrating.. the SOB moves.)I have no ideas yet and wanted to see what others could suggest. Hopefully some brave souls have done this kind of "roof dampenning" before and can lend a helping hand, if not, I guess I'll pioneer this one on my own.... Please help!

Just line it with dynamat (or similar, I hear McMaster Car sells the same stuff but way better price)
