Does anyone have any experiences with this bumper? Know anyone that does who could shed some light on it? It appears to be solid and a direct fit to the Disco. Also, it appears to have a pretty good approach angle. The ARB threads are starting to scare me a little. Lastly, could a Warn be swapped in instead of using a Superwinch? Thanks in advance for any and all light that you all can shed on these questions!

I think you just like "Z" stuff, go with RTE!

Yes but why? You would just need a superwinch fairlead.

They are made by David Boyer in the UK

To answer your question Ron, I've been around Warn's and they seem to be very good winches. I was just hoping to hear some unbiased or biased answers about this bumper. Nothing about it on this site. Thanks again!

You can find info on it on David Boyer's site. Any of the UK BBSs should have more input (there I am answering your question). Seemed to be well made when I saw one but since I have not used it I don't know anything other than you can use a warn winch but you need a superwinch (11in) fairlead.

Cheers
Ron

PS I am working on the ratio thing still.

Thanks again Ron! I guess I will have to go to David Boyer's site and get some answers from him. Ya gotta love this internet thing. Anyway, you must be talking about the crawl ratio or final drive ratio.
If it's the crawl thing then pre-98 D90's have a 43 to 1 ratio. Same year D1's have a 39 to 1 ratio. A/T vehicles are lower but the same for the both of them. Post-98's are the same for both vehicles at 42 to 1.
If your talking about final drive ratio's then it would be about 3.15. A little higher for D90's and a little lower for A/T equipped vehicles. Again Thanks!
