I want to be able to get detail maps of the backcountry of Wisc(pipeline). Where is the best place to look for these maps?

Try contacting Rick Sanchez (cameltrophy@hotmail.com) of the Chicago LR Club - he runs a Palm with his GPS & knows the area well. He should be able to supply some waypoints too. It's a great trail!

I use Delorme Street Atlas. The software also includes the Solus program, which runs on your Palm. I use this setup with my Visor.
In addition, you can get Topo map data for backcountry explorations. The Delorme products have an amazing level of detail for the low cost.

Works well for me. GOOD LUCK!
