I crushed one of my cats off-road and need a Y pipe. Any one got a used one in good condition or know where to get an inexpensive replacement? I have also heard that it may be a possibility to gut the cats and reattach the Y pipe. This sounds like a bad idea to me but what do you guys think?

I have a gutted Y pipe that used to be on our Disco. Now it has a NRP Y pipe and runs great....better than the gutted pipe. I guess the super heated air from the cats might actualy help out.

Also, its pretty nasty sounding with the cats gutted.

there is a full exhaust sysytem for a D1 including the cats and with a new muffler on eBay. the bid is around $150. i think it ends soon. it came off a '96.

i am not the seller....just a little FYI.

Any one know what the inlet/outlet measurements are for the cats on a 95 Disco? Or which summit racing univeral cat size fits? For only $60 summit racing sounds better than $799!
