There used top be a great one in the Trips gallery of Kyle pulling out a Jeep w/44's on it that was jammed deep in a Barrens mud hole but the gallery doesnt seem to be there anymore.

gp - I actually took him wheeling and got him stock. When I tried to pull him out with my winch lets say he end up buying a new rear bumperwhat sucks the most, the batteries on my digital camera were dead. This took place when I lived in FL, now I am in CA,
Kyle - that's great thanks!

I have a video of my trusty disco pulling 2 cheeps at the same time.. let's say that the cheep in the middle had a bad case of chassy tortion torture... hehehe..
I'll send a VHS to mister Viking to load in discoweb...

damn, everyone bashing jeepers these days. i think it's worse than the ford/chevy debate most of the time. i really don't see the big deal, it's all up to the driver. i've seen a stock open diff jeep walk all over an obstacle that 2 good disco drivers couldn't make up. I was one driver, Kyle you want to mention the other guys name???

Al , "Making it" isnt what gets it done. What happened to the other modified Jeep when it was attempting to unstick another Rover driver , um , Al , you remember that guys name?

hehe, bitter to the end kyle. yeah, the dana 30 is a hunk o crap. but i still like jeeps, if properly modified they do well just like any other vehicle. As long as I have straight axles i'm happy.

Bitter? I say how things are and that makes me bitter? I have said time and time again that doing it once or twice means nothing to me. hell yes I wanted to make that climb that night and didnt. Yep the little cheep went on up like nothing. I know and you know he wont do it long..

Dudes,
I'm from Reno and so quite a few of my closest friends are J**P owners. I rode in one through the Rubicon ('93 YJ, sprung over, gears, etc)in the summer of '99 and thought it was a very capable vehicle. Even side hilling, which they hate BTW, surprised me quite a bit. Most of them locked but couple of them were totally open. But one of the driver, Q man, walked over everything like nobody's business.
Then I met up with the same crew the next year for the Fordyce Creek Trail (Sierra Trek) last year. I drove down from Kelso, WA, camped in the Black Rock desert (same time as Burning man festival), went off-roading with these guys then drove back up to Kelso. This time a full size Dodge, Scout, Sammys, 4runner, Cherokees and Wranglers were in the mix. It had to be one of the funnest weekend trail I've ever done. Even though I bent my stock rear trailing arm twice, these guys couldn't wait to fix me up. We ended up welding concrete anchors (like reebars) to each of the rear arms to prevent any more bending using three optimas and two sunglasses! Even when a guy from another group behind us came up and started to get mouthy due to our slow action, we almost had a rumble right there. And I just met most of these guys that morning! Of course I got engaged on this trail too so it holds a special memory for me.
To make a long story short, these guys admired my "low rider" through the trail and we all had a ball! The trail was only 8.5 miles but took three full days to complete.
Why can't we all get along?!!
