Any help here? - an inch or two further back would do me a world of good.

Steve,

Look on the sliding rails - if the holes are there, it is pretty obvious. I will check on my friends D2 tonite and let you know.

Steve,
I looked, but I couldn't tell - you got a lot of junk up under there. I think you will have to take the seat out to see.

I haven't removed the seat yet but haven't been able to see any holes......might try it this weekend.

Try removing the seat from the rails, not from the floor. If you slide it all the way foward there should be two torx one on each side going up into the seat itself. Then slide the seat all the way back and find the other two torx going up into the seat and pull the seat out. now the rails will be exposed with four more torx exposed that will be removed to move the seat rails back. then put emm back in! I used a allen key style set of torx wrenches and stopped with the drivers seat untill I get a ratchet 40T It will just be a lot easier.

Mike -

good description on how to do it, but isn't yours a D1? If not, then I guess it is the same on a D2. Oh yeah, be careful with the springs - they are under a lot of tension and I bet they could hurt if the popped out on ya.
