Hello everyone. I hate bringing up an old topic and start another thread. I received my NEW ARB DII bumper crush cans today to replace the old one and keep one just in case. After looking the new cans over, I may just have them welded so they will not collapse again in the future. I would like any photos that anyone has, to show how they welded their crush cans (mongo & slider?) The new ones I received do not have a "U" cut out on the inside edge of the the drivers side can and both of them do not have the round holes cut out of them to cut down on weight etc. I presume. I think the "U" that is cut out somehow allows the winch to br mounted between the cans to the frame. Anyway, I'll keep the group informed of the progress of repair and let you know of any changes that I find to these new cans once I install them. have fun wheelin'...Incidentally, ARB send me new wiring harnesses w/marker lights, rubber bumpers for the front edge and a complete set of bolts. Hmmm, wonder if these ARB problems have been a problem and their newer cans are beefier....The collapsible zone for the cans seems as though there are more now then the two or so that were engineered on them originally.

Josh, Dave Latrouette from ARB told me he gave you some info on how to do your cans or did them for you. I can't remember. Do you have other pics aside from the ones you posted?
