I have been thinking of buying a Discovery, love the truck, but during the test drive came to the realization that I don't fit in it well. I just couldn't get my leg into a comfortable position. I had to keep my right leg bent, to the side and I kept hitting the steering wheel.

Does anyone know of a way to move the seat back an extra inch or two or lower the seat more?

Marc, thanks for the link. Sounds like a good and simple mod. I'm 6'3" and since the extra 1" room worked for you, it sounds I should be fine.
Any idea if it works for the series II discos?
I'll have to check the truck next time I'm at the dealer and see if it can still be done. It seems strange that Land Rover makes the seat with such a limited amount of adjustment. Thanks again.

I looked on my D2 and did not see anyway to move, the seat rails back, could be blind though. Any more input?

I looked on a D2 yesterday also, but couldn't see because there was so much junk under there, also because I couldn't take the side panels off. I think you might have to take the seat out to see if the holes are there.
