What do you think are the absolute minimum mods for a D2 to enjoy moab with everyone next year? Have the rubber getting the RT lift and sliders, possible bumpers, front RT rear Greg Davis, should money be put in lockers or CDL. Trying slowly to get recovery gear etc. Thanks, Matt G

matt, you can pretty much have a great time with just sliders and stickier tires and decent recovery points. all depends on what trails you do.
that is the absolute minimum...
ah, CAMERA!!! gotta have the CAMERA!

First baby due in October first so, I was thinking next year when everyone on the Disocweb goes isn't that in may? {i know plenty of time to prepare} My EE stickers should help me get through some tricky parts! Tires just chillin in the garage, Kyle has me spooked on puttin those sons-of-b's on! For sure have Rt 2 inch lift by then. You guys will make fun of me but will have DVD and 6.5 inch screen in center console, Fiberglassed a 12 inch box into passenger side compartment, trying to do things that I have the knowledge to do first. Also found a cool dual battery setup that the use in minitrucks, that will fit in factory battery spot on D2's, the specs on each are pretty close to the Optimas. Keep you informed!

Herky, please keep us (me) informed on the dual battery set-up. I've been looking for something to fit in the same spot on my DII.
Thanks,
David

They are from a company in Canada, 160 plus shipping to USA, the isolator is from Scosche industries, 75 bucks, have tommorow off to take my factory jack etc out and get measurements. They are deep cycle, the abuse hydraulics and multiple amp setups present to them prove they can handle it.
