I own a Disco II and the rubber seals on the exterior bottom are very spotted. LR states that British rubber is soft and It's just "A LR Thing" Anyone know how to treat this w/o making this worse? I heard ArmorAll (SP) etc. just makes it worse in the long run.

Thanks

This is unacceptable, demand replacement under warranty

British rubber is soft - thats a good one! (especially considering the seals are made in Germany and that is just a ridiculous statement anyway)

if it is just spotted - try something like Goof Off - but don't get it on the paint or on plastic and then afterwards clean it all up with any glass cleaner or with alchohol. The DI had the same problem on he inside of portion of the rear window seals.
