Just took a rock in the windshield yesterday and it needs to be replaced. Any ideas about where to look? The dealership is obviously out of the question. What about Nathan Crabtree? Is it becessary to replace the seals around the glass? Thanks for the advice.

Any local glass shop - there are no seals around the glass - it is a glue in. Only thing around the windshield is rubber trim

from my experience, the local glass shop still orders from the dealer (at least that's what happened when I had to replace mine a few months back.)

make sure that it is Triplex XXX (OEM) glass. Also make sure that it is for the Land Rover Discovery (your correct model year), and not for the Land Rover Range Rover. I just had one replaced, and they dropped a '95 Rangie windshield in my '96 Disco. Seal wasn't good, and you could see above & behind the headliner from the outside looking in. At least they didn't try to put Toyota Land Cruiser glass in...:)
