Jon,
Yes you can, I have the kit on my 1997, the problem I had with the kit was that the holes that the dampener stud go through are to small and will bind. I enlarge the holes so that they are the same size as the original mounting holes, and used the original hardware.

kent, thanks for the response. the holes on mine seem to fit perfect. my only problem is my oil filter seems to be in the way. i was wondering if you have any pictures of your set up. safari gard customer service wasn't much help. thanks

Jon, I have to agree with you. Their customer service sucks. I bought the kit but it is still sitting in the garage because of the filter problem.
Kent, can you send me a picture too? Thanks.

Jon & TC, Sorry for the delay. I took some pictures today. At least SG fixed the hole size, I have had mine for a year or two. On the large bracket that bolts to the frame rail I bent a 10% twist into it to better line it up with the tie rod. I also welded the other end to the tie rod after bending the original tie rod. I have 4" of lift and a SG three link up front. I don't know if this gives me more clearance. It has never been a problem for me.

Jon, I need your email address to send you the pictures.
