Any one know if this has ever been done? Have any pics if it has?

Seen pics in the mags. Usually a two door. Does not look too terribly complicated. :)

eric-

i've seen the pic of the two door also. cutting off the roor is the easy part - but where to cut -do you want to make it like the old bauer bmw's where you removen the entire center section? (leaving the upper door, frames and outboard roof rails intack) i'm sure you would need an external roll cage to tighten up the chassis. if you are serious - i'd contact asc for advise. they are the pro's at this

Was just looking to see what it would look like and that type of thing and to see if any one has done it and what it took/cost to do it and if they were happy with it. Not really thinking of doing it but, in the future who knows.

Actually saw a picture of Cabriolet version of a Disco in a book on Discos... very interesting- looking.... it was made for some oil sheik, and it was a unique vehicle.

It was a 2-door. The entire roof would be easy enough to remove off of a Disco body. Windshield and front doors, just leave as-is. Or actually, would want to mount some sort of top-locking mechanism to the top of the windshield, I suppose.

Rear door, remove the glass and trim off all of the surrounding bits.

The 'trick', though, would be how to deal w/ the rear-quarter windows. Trim it off along the bottom of the window, I suppose.
