any ideas? the transmission seems to want to down shift while accelerating. i'll get the truck going and as it's going to shift it seems confused and downshifts then quickly shifts up again. doesn't do it all the time ,but does seem to be getting progresively worse. any thoughts as to what this might be?

check the kickdown cable adjustment. the collar should be between .25mm - 1.25mm from the housing.
