I'm going to start wheeling my 4.6 and I need sliders....John ? Anyone ? Front bumper ?

The 95 and later 4.6's arent suited for sliders as we know them...Take off the plastic sills assembly(in your mind of course) and you will see what I mean. Nothing to work with for the strenght needed...my opinion only but I have looked at them hard and close.

Andy & John, I just returned for the proving grounds for a new set up Rock Sliders that we build for the New Range Rover. My Dad and I build two sets. One for my '96 4.0 and one for his '98 4.6. We tested them durning the past week on the Texas Rovers 2001 Continetal Divide trip in Colorado. They worked very well, taking many hard hits with not vehical or slider damage (other than scratched finish). The design we developed attaches directly to the frame and also functions as a sort of step. I will try to get some pictures ready for posting next week some time. Let me know if you are interested. We are toying with the ideal of producing a few more sets to sell.
