No I know how to put it on. I just replaced the outside seals on my 2 rear quarter windows and after 4 days those damn things are browner than dirt. Any ideas on how to get them black and keep em that way>>>>>?????

if you really care, armour all. after a few coats over time it will "sink in" and keep it's color and not be wet.

Will,
Glad to see this can be DIY. I can get the gaskets for not too much $$$, but my local glass shop wants $50 per to install. So here is what I need to know - how do you do the install, and do I need any special tools?
Thanks for any help.

Use petroleum jelly (the white one) on that rubber. Work it thoroughly into the rubber. Even old rubber will look nice and become soft. To my experience, the Armor All protection will soon fade away, but then I maybe didn't give it enough and over too short time. The petroleum jelly is far cheaper than "rocket science" Armor All.
Marc!
I did replace my front windscreen some months ago. Too big and too heavy to handle alone, but can be done ;-)) So: You'll be able to do small windows yourself, but it really is tricky. New rubber is good - I "had to" reuse mine and I acquired that leak.
Roverly Yours, Frode
