Does anybody know the (parts)difference between the D1 and D2 brake systems? Could a person retrofit a new traction control computer onto a D1? Is it possible without major modifications?

Why. Get Dual TTs I am sure it would be cheaper and they are way better off road.

I agree with Ron. There are many different solutions that will meet your needs better. The Traction Control System on a D2 touches too many systems. I doubt if you could ever get it to work right on a D1, even if it was economically affordable. AND I don't think that it would be economically viable.

Instead, I plan to go with ARB air lockers front and rear. Then I am going to change out the tires to something more agressive. In my opinion, this setup will kick the TCS's butt in every situation.

Thanks,
Mike
