RN board sucks. Too many a**holes.

The Yahoo group is helpful and busy.

Would there be any interest in adding a series specific section to the DiscoWeb BBS?

YES!!!!

You could get lots of cross posts too:

What is more capable, Disco II or series II?

How to retrofit series items to your disco?

What is still the same?

cheers
Ron

Amen to that! Don't have a Series yet, but would like to have one. Being informed will help us all that would want a Series make a good decision.

Thanks!

Putting one on discoweb would be good too.

What ever you decide, I hope the Admin keeps on top of it as we'll get cross traffic from RN and the jerks over there will migrate...

I'd love another place to query about my Series. Every other day is a new maintaince project.

My two most-visited sites are here, and at Guns-n-Rovers (the link that Ron posted above). Art will kill any junk that appears on the board... most of us there are pretty good natured, haven't had much trouble at all.... great bunch of friends.

I wouldn't knock a SeriesWeb at all... as a matter of fact, Joe Broach's Series Shed would have potential as such if it had more traffic... but, maybe try out Art's board, and see if that works for ya first before reinventing the wheel....

INHO, YMMV, etc etc...

Ok, we added a series Rover section to the BBS. We'll see how it goes.

http://www.seriesrovers.com

I found this site a couple of nights ago. Honestly, it looks like the site has not been updated for some time. One look at the classifieds made this obvious.

However, there's good technical info, great pictures, a restoration project and some sound Series buying tips. After visiting the site, post your questions here, since discoweb is so active.

Cheers!

The Series Shed is Joe Broach's site... he's been out of the country, I believe.

(Note, drop the last 's' : http://www.seriesrover.com )
