Hi All
Thx for all the info in the past.
After talking to a few of u on the discoweb.
I decided to purchase a Disco 1.
What should i look out for as in year and mileage?

For Disco 1, the newer the better. 99s (a few were made) were pretty good, 98s also good. The quailty was better because the BMW quality control program kicked in about then. 97's were only marginally worse. Earlier than that and it is more of a pot luck situation - some were bad, a good many were great. The 4.0 engine is really is pretty reliable (when compared to the 3.9).

94 - 96 had some corrosion problems. Even the newer ones to a lesser degree. Not so much a problem here in the south, but much more of a problem up north.

Beyond that, it has to be pretty much left up to your good judgement and to some degree luck.
