Hi everyone. I'm working out a deal with my LR Center here in Connecticut for a bumper install. I finished cracking my front fairing enough to allow my driving light to fall out. I did an insurance claim and have some money to work with. The center can do the work but I would like to find out the cheapest anyone here has seen a winch air bag compatible ARB front bumper for sale anywhere. I'm hoping I can get it in the $600-800 range TOPS. I don't thing the install will take as long vs. the labor needed to install another stock DII bumper with the painting, clipping, mounting etc. Also, does anyone feel that a SG bar would be better as far as approach angles, accessories that you can bolt to the bumper etc?...TJM was another consideration but not too many if any have been reported installed in my state or nearby. Thanks as usual. Your always a great help.

I have the SafariGard bumper on my Disco 1. It takes foreever for the product to come in, but once it does, you will be very impressed with the looks and the quality. If you go with SafariGard, go with the integrated skid plate. That is what gives the bumper most of its strength. The SafariGard adds lots of approach angle and clearance. The SafariGard bumper is not specifically desiged to work with the AirBags like the ARB one is, but your air bags will work regardless of which bumper you install.
The ARB bumper is also incredibly well made. I don't think that it looks as good as the SafariGard, but you cannot fault the quality, the functionality or the price.
So, the good news is that you have lots to choose from and none of the choices are 'bad'.
Lots of luck in your decision!

SG has a special now, 250 off the DII bumper and it is in stock. I think they are worth the extra money but maybe you don't. The one on the DI we have is fantastic.
