Need some advice. I have the 'Workshop Manual' from LR for my 97 Disco, but it does not cover essential items such as specific tools, subtle hints to avoid problems, you know what I mean... So, a few questions:
1. What is a good companion manual, Haynes / Chilton
2. Which would you choose, unless there are better manuals
3. Is the LR parts manual an essential book also?
4. Off topic, but is there a comprehensive tool-set offered by a company that covers the basic LR needs that I can carry aboard my truck?

You might want to check the Bentley Pubs repair manual for S1 Discos. Their manuals are probably the most complete written.
